Rerenga Kupu Maori

Today we learnt some rerenga for sports and stuff. The thing I disliked the most is the mote it was stressful with all the background noises it took me a long time but I finished. The part I liked the most is finding the photo for each rerenga. I liked this it was fun.

3D View

Today for our Te Reo Maori we had to draw a 3D view. I based mine on our Rawhiti School library, it took me some time but I got to finish thankfully. I didn’t do the best job but its still alright it was hard at first but once I got the layout done it wasn’t to hard for the detailed parts. I didn’t see it going so good with the layout but then came my favorite part details, the details honestly carried the drawing. I think I did a pretty good job for a pretty little time .

Nga Puriro – Showing Possession

Today we have been learning to use Taku and Toku for different reasons for example Taku teina not toku teina. I liked doing the worksheet of translating Maori words and putting them in taku or toku that was also my favorite part. I got 23 out of 30 I got potae and Kaikorero, Pukumahi, papareti, Inu reka and finally  Turu  all wrong but all the other ones were right

Learning About Habitats

In this subject we focused on 5 main habitats, Forest, grasslands, polar, aquatic , desert. In the forest we had to get two animals I chose Chimpanzee and Orangutan we also had to see how they adapted to their habitat. We had to do the same with all the habitats. My favorite was the forest I like the chimpanzee and orangutan it was the most fun to learn about even though we didn’t have great options.
